Terms of Service & Acceptable Use

This is a plain-language agreement for the Web Factory hosting service. By purchasing or using the service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Agentic Web Services ("we", "us") provides the Web Factory: an agent-built website, hosting, SSL, a connected domain, and chat-managed edits, for $20/month plus a one-time domain registration fee (domains renew yearly at cost via our registrar partner, Cloudflare). A storefront layout is included; live payments, inventory and fulfilment are additional defined work. The service is for standard websites assembled from our page formats and features — not custom software/engine development.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You are responsible for everything on your site and every request you submit. You agree NOT to use the service to create, host, request, or distribute any of the following, and our systems and agents will refuse requests that appear to involve them:

Adult / pornographic / sexually explicit content, or content sexualizing minors (zero tolerance).
Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, link farms, SEO cloaking, or deceptive mass-mailing operations.
Illegal content or activity — anything violating applicable law, including fraud, scams, pyramid/Ponzi schemes, illegal goods, drugs, weapons, or gambling where prohibited.
Malware, phishing, or deceptive sites — malicious code, credential harvesting, impersonation, or fake/lookalike sites.
Hate, harassment, or violence — content that incites violence or targets people based on protected characteristics.
Intellectual-property infringement — using others' trademarks, copyrighted work, or brand identities without the right to do so.
Misleading, defamatory, or dangerous content — including false claims that could cause harm (medical, financial, etc.).
Anything that would reasonably expose us to legal liability or reputational harm.

We may refuse, pause, or remove any request, page, or site — and suspend or terminate an account — that we reasonably believe violates this policy, with or without notice. Repeat or egregious violations result in termination without refund.

3. The Agent Dashboard & Requests

You manage your site by submitting requests through your dashboard. Requests are scoped to web-design work on your own site only. Requests outside that scope, or that violate the Acceptable Use Policy, will be declined. You may not use requests to attempt to access our systems, other customers' sites, or anything beyond your own account.

4. Payment, Renewal & Refunds

$20/month is billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. Domain registration is a one-time fee; domains renew annually at our partner's then-current price. You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing. Domain fees and completed work are non-refundable. You own domains registered for you and may request transfer.

5. Content Ownership

You own the content you provide and the finished site. We retain rights to our underlying templates, formats, tooling and software.

6. Availability

We provide hosting on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service and aren't liable for downtime, data loss, or third-party outages (including domain/DNS/registrar issues).

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes will be posted here.
